The “Own the City” High School Lacrosse Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Irvine High School Stadium. This is an all day event and the gates will open at 12 noon.
The day will feature exciting athletic competition, local sports vendors, great food, fun half-time events for tournament participants and fans alike (scheduled for 4:30), and terrific prize raffles. Admission is $5 per person;
kids under 12 and youth lacrosse players wearing team jerseys or t-shirts free.

Northwood's boys lacrosse team may or may not be advancing to the U.S. Lacrosse Orange County playoffs.
But the Timberwolves looked like a playoff-caliber team Saturday night, defeating crosstown rival Woodbridge, 9-1, in the championship of the third annual Own The City Tournament at Irvine.
